If you are already in love with the BMW M series and just waiting to pick your sedan, then we got some good news with the 2024 BMW M4.
Even though the M4 is far from being perfect, the two-door M3 is making strides in a good way to become as perfect as it can and we think it’s time we see the M sibling for its worth.
If you are wondering about the M4 being roomy enough in the rear seat even though it has shrunk two doors, then you need not worry, not only is it spacious enough, it remains classy, luxurious and comfortable on all accords.
The BMW M4 for the 2023 model year has made some good impression and still has retained one con from its M3 parent and that would be the overwhelmingly available driving options.
And in that list you would also see that the M4 does not get user-friendly with its tech and in a manner to make it more trendy, BMW seemed to have missed the point of making it easy to use.
With the manual transmission to kill for and sports craze-worthy riding experience delivered no matter the trim picked, the advantages of the BMW M4 seem to outweigh the cons making it a must-have among loyal thrill drive enthusiasts.
Yes, with the 2023 model year BMW M4 dropping early in 2022 the talks about the 2024 model year BMW M4 have been making the rounds already.
It will most probably be a carry-over model for the 2024 model year and the date or month of launch has not been announced yet.
In case you are looking to book the 2023 model year BMW M4 then, you can take them out for a spin and book them now.
The 2023 BMW M4 will be made available in four trims with the entry-level trim Coupe being the recommended among experts.
The entry-level trim, Coupe is priced at $75,695 and the price just shoots up right after that and there is no going down.
The next would be the Competition Coupe which will just add a few thousand dollars to the entry-level and gets the price tag of $79, 595.
Then you will get to witness the Competition Convertible priced at $90,695 followed by the newly introduced CSL trim priced at $140,895.
But if you are looking to book the CSL there are chances you may not be able to do that as the units produced are limited and will most definitely be sold out by now.
No, not all trims are sold out. The CSL trim which will be the main addition for the 2023 model year will only get 1000 units in production and is already sold out.
The best feature of the CSL trim will be that it would shave off a massive 240 pounds and increase the horsepower to 543.
The weight reduction does throw away many unwanted additions to the M4 including the rear seats, yes, the CSL will not get any rear seats and remain exclusively as a two-seater.
The entry-level trim gets the 3.0-litre inline-six engine with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission which delivers 473 horsepower. It still is impressive for a base-level trim as it could shoot up to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
The Competition trims get the eight-speed automatic transmission with the same engine and deliver 503 horsepower.
With the manual transmission gone, the Competition trims get the advantage of getting the all-wheel drive system which trims of a second and helps the M4 shoot up to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
The CSL trim gets a rear-wheel drive system with eight-speed automatic transmission which delivers 543 horsepower.
The 2023 BMW M4 is said to offer a fuel economy of 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The base-level trim while on trial delivered 2mpg lesser on a highway.
