Even though the newly dropped teaser images did not mention they are of the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, fans and experts alike can confirm that the one in the image is very much the Cruiser with clues and some detective work added.
Ever since the comeback announcement dropped the rumours around the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser looking a lot like the 2024 Lexus GX has been unleashed and the recent images revealed by Toyota have altered the speculation to more than just coincidence.
While the side profile of the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser that was recently dropped looks an awful lot like the 2024 Lexus GX, there are rumours swirling that the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser may take inspiration from the GX more than its exterior alone.
But, the front end of the GX is not taken as it is for the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser as you can see the difference even with the teaser pictures dropped with darkened effects.

While the details on the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser are still scarce on many fronts you can expect the SUV with off-roading history to spruce up a good powertrain nevertheless.
If reports are to be believed then the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser will share the powertrain with its luxury sibling 2024 Lexus GX.
If that’s the case then twin-turbo 3.4-liter V-6 which delivers 349 horsepower will be the default engine available in the Lexus and might be the default one for the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser too.
And not to mention there are reports on a hybrid powertrain dropping in the coming years so, keep your eyes peeled.
As of now the details released about the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is more than just limited let’s be honest, it is basically none and that is why we are not sure about when the booking will begin.
But you can expect the entire model to be unveiled by the end of 2023 and get more details about the shrouded SUV that time around.
Given that the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is marketed as a 2025 year model you can expect the SUV to begin deliveries in 2024 so bookings should start by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
