Hyundai has taken the revolution it promised to bring in the field of automobiles to another dimension with its all-electric Ioniq 6 and this upcoming 2023 Genesis G90.
Genesis G90 sedan gets more than some cosmic change to its new 2023 edition, which has got the attention of every luxury car enthusiast worldwide.
With G90 is the flagship sedan which takes the best of the G80 and adds in the new engine with updated horsepower and features.

This comes just $10,000 above the base model (all prices include destination) when optioned with all-wheel drive for both trims.
What are the updates in 2023 Genesis?
Since Genesis announced G90 as its flagship sedan, we know there won’t be only trivial cosmic changes to the vehicle.
As expected, the car will see some significant changes and these changes are said to roar its name in the luxury industry as Hyundai is done playing nice with its luxury avatar.
Even though the exterior does not vary much from the G80, we would like to yell to the world at the top of our voice, particularly to other European brands who are the big names in the luxury industry, that this is how you get heads turning with the crest-style grille.
And apparently, Genesis is hell-bent on not stopping there. G90 is said to adorn the thinnest headlights ever to be adorned by a car or any Genesis model, for that instance.
A clamshell hood (that integrates the fenders and bonnet), bulbous fenders, two-line rear taillights, thicker C-pillars, and a sharp parabolic line running from the hood to the trunk all form the outer layer of the new and improved G90.
Under the Hood
G90 bids adieu to the old tourqey 5.0-litre V8 engine and welcomes the G80’s twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 with a horsepower of 375 and 391 lb-ft. Of torque.Â
With luxury comes the best features, so all-wheel drive becomes a standard, and the luxury sedan moves into eight-speed automatic transmissions with ease.
G90 does not get the same as G80, though it gets a highly developed one. The flagship sedan gets a potent version of the twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6. While the other parts remain the same, Genesis throws in a 48-volt electric supercharger to the mix, which sets off the car to deliver 409 horsepower and 405 lb-ft. Of torque.
Comfort Personified
When we told Genesis did not come to play, we meant it as it managed to give the quiet, peaceful ride it promised to give to passengers. It comes with a multi-chamber air suspension, which in turn alters the pressure in the air springs to give passengers a smooth and quiet ride.
While comfort is provided thanks to this, the noise cancellation material, thanks to Genesis, is what keeps the unwanted noise away from the passengers.
Leave it to Hyndai to come up with the best innovation possible. Let it be with Ioniq or Genesis, it leaves no stone unturned. Some of the innovative features available would be a fingerprint ID system (for keyless driving), auto flush door handles, wide-angle camera-based remote parking assist system known to support all types of parking and auto-closing doors.
Like every other sedan, it comes with a big infotainment screen and tech cluster. It also comes in handy with a mood curator (which controls ambient lighting), massaging seats, 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a fragrance system, electric curtains, and so much more.
Even with the high tech around, you might feel the need to know how it does in the safety measures department, and we could tell without a doubt that it does well in that area too.
Genesis G90 comes with ten airbags, a heads-up display and standard tire pressure monitoring.Â
Genesis G90 is a luxury sedan, so we know that luxury and class come along with it no matter what variant or trim you pick. The interior will have a variety of materials to pick from, and the sedan will not be a soft rival anymore.
With the added supercharged engine and the heightened remodel, Genesis is ready to shake up the world of luxury cars and rewrite history as one of the strongest contenders in its niche.
